Charleston 2011 – As it happened

Last week, hundreds of librarians, publishers consultants, vendors  from across the world gathered in Charleston to talk about the future of academic publishing. The 31st Charleston Conference was, by all reports, another great success, and we’ll be getting a personal perspective from our sister company PCG, who were there last week. In the meantime, however, what were people saying about Charleston on social media?

We’ve made another of our social media round-ups here so you can take a look at how attendees were discussing the finer points of knowledge management, protesting that they did ‘get’ fundamental change, and explore how students are increasingly interacting with academic libraries in different ways. We hope you find it interesting and let us know what you think.
